Four M Health Fairview hospitals honored as ‘High Performing’ in pregnancy and childbirth care
Choosing where to deliver your baby shouldn’t be hard.
To help families find the right place for their pregnancy and childbirth care, U.S. News & World Report released its first-ever “Best Hospitals for Maternity” list on Dec. 7.
We’re proud to announce that four M Health Fairview hospitals were recognized as “High Performing” this year, a distinction given to only 237 hospitals nationwide. The four hospitals in our health system that were honored by U.S. News include:
- M Health Fairview Lakes Medical Center
- M Health Fairview Ridges Hospital
- M Health Fairview St. John’s Hospital
- M Health Fairview Woodwinds Hospital
“This national distinction reflects our commitment to provide the best-possible family-centered care for pregnant people,” said Obstetrician/Gynecologist Laura France, MD, medical director of our community Birthplaces. “Our care providers are very experienced. We deliver thousands of babies every year. But we treat every journey as unique, and we offer compassionate care tailored to each person.”
Our health system has nine birth centers across Minnesota with a variety of amenities, birthing techniques, and access to maternal-fetal medicine and neonatal care if you need the highest level of support.
