Hyundai Hope on Wheels presents Lucie Turcotte with $75K Young Investigator Award
Earlier this month, Hyundai Hope on Wheels awarded Lucie Turcotte, MD, pediatric hematologist/oncologist, a $75,000 Young Investigator Award to study the long-term effects of cancer therapies on children. The goal is to improve the health and well-being of childhood cancer survivors.
At an event celebrating the award at University of Minnesota Masonic Children’s Hospital, a young cancer survivor and a child undergoing treatment placed their handprints on a car that will travel throughout the country.
