More than 200 M Health Fairview doctors named Top Doctors

Every year, Mpls.St.Paul Magazine asks physicians across the Twin Cities which doctors they trust most — the ones they would turn to for their own care or recommend to family and friends.

The list of physician nominees was carefully evaluated based on peer recognition, professional accomplishments, and disciplinary records. Finalists were then invited to participate on a panel to help assess the other candidates.

The results were turned into the prestigious 2025 Mpls.St.Paul Magazine list of Top Doctors. More than 800 physicians were included. More than 200 of them are part of the M Health Fairview system — once again earning us the distinction of having more Top Doctors than any other health system in the Twin Cities. 

“Through the doctors' leadership, innovation, and commitment to every patient they care for, these honorees are helping advance the future of medicine in Minnesota,” said Jaya Kumar, MD, MBA, chief medical officer at Fairview Health Services. “We’re proud to once again see so many of our compassionate doctors recognized.”

Holly Boyer, MD, M Physicians Chief Clinical Officer and an M Health Fairview otolaryngologist shared similar pride.

"I've had the honor of working with many of these outstanding physicians, and they represent some of the strongest talent in our state," Boyer said. "Their care for patients is unique in that they combine new research discoveries with personal connection. It's what patients in our community seek, and we're grateful to provide it for them."
