More than 40 M Health Fairview physicians named Top Doctors for Women

At M Health Fairview, we are committed to delivering exceptional, personalized care for women at every stage of life. It’s a commitment we’ve held for decades, so we’re proud to have so many of our providers recognized for understanding women’s care needs.

More than 40 M Health Fairview physicians have been named “Top Doctors for Women” by Minnesota Monthly—an honor based on peer recommendations. Each year, the publication surveys thousands of licensed physicians across the 11-county Twin Cities metro area and Olmsted County, asking whom they would trust to care for themselves or a loved one. Physicians may nominate up to three colleagues, and those most frequently recommended earn the “Top Doctor” distinction.

At a time when women’s healthcare is fraught with uncertainty, we double down on providing care women can count on.

“Women who feel heard and supported are empowered to achieve their best possible health,” said Jaya Kumar, MD, MBA, board-certified internist, nephrologist, and chief medical officer with Fairview Health Services. “Because women are often caregivers in their own circles, that empowerment radiates out to entire families and communities.”
