Mpls.St.Paul Magazine honors 143 University of Minnesota Health physicians
University of Minnesota Health is proud to announce that 143 of our physicians representing 41 specialties were named “Top Doctors” this year by Mpls.St.Paul Magazine.
The magazine released its 18th annual “Top Doctors” edition on June 26. All the doctors recognized by the magazine were chosen by their peers. The “Top Doctors” are determined by a survey sent to 2,500 physicians and 2,500 registered nurses in the 10-county Minneapolis-St. Paul metropolitan area. The survey participants are asked to indicate which doctors they would go to for treatment in pre-selected specialties. Survey participants are randomly selected.
University of Minnesota Health physicians represent roughly 20 percent of the 710 total physicians named by the magazine. The prominence of our physicians in the Top Doctors list reflects the continued strength of our organization throughout the region, and our commitment to patients, families and our referring physician colleagues.
