Top baby names in 2023 at M Health Fairview Birthplaces
For the second year in a row, Theodore and Charlotte were the top boy and girl names for babies born at M Health Fairview Birthplaces across Minnesota.
More than 12,800 babies have been born so far this year within our health system, and those two names were the most popular for parents delivering at our hospitals.
For boys, Theodore and Henry have had lasting appeal, taking turns in the #1 and #2 spots on our annual list since 2021. For girls’ names, Charlotte is a perennial frontrunner, but this year Evelyn dethroned Olivia for the #2 spot. Noah and Lucy made waves in 2023 as new entries on the lists after they didn’t make the cut last year, with Lucy leaping into the #4 position for girls.
