Charcot-Marie-Tooth (CMT) is a type of nerve disorder that causes progressive weakness in the legs, hands, and arms.

Overview

CMT is caused by a change in a gene, but symptoms can begin at any age. Advances in genetics are leading to new discoveries in CMT and the potential for new treatments.
