Our M Health Fairview care team treats all forms of gastrointestinal (GI) cancers. We provide a wide range of options for the diagnosis and treatment of GI cancers, including laparoscopic, robotic, and reconstruction surgery, as well as radiation and chemotherapy for patients with a range of medical needs.
Patients—who may have thought their treatment options were exhausted—may have access to new, experimental treatments through clinical trials we offer. We are continuing our research into more targeted treatments, one of which was developed here at Masonic Cancer Center, University of Minnesota, to treat pancreatic cancer called Minnelide®. We also have a highly skilled team focused on the treatment of the hepatobiliary system and pancreas, which includes primary and metastatic cancers of the liver, gallbladder, bile duct, and pancreas. M Health Cancer Care patients receive coordinated and comprehensive care from a care team made up of surgical oncologists, radiologists, hematologists/oncologists, gastroenterologist, radiation oncologists, and others.
