Our approach
M Health Fairview’s multidisciplinary adult Muscular Dystrophy Care Center is part of our Muscular Dystrophy Association-affiliated commitment to comprehensive clinical care in neuromuscular disorders. Team members include neurologists board-certified in Neuromuscular Medicine, a nurse-coordinator, physical therapist, a pulmonologist (physician expert in managing breathing difficulty), a cardiologist (physician expert in heart disease), a nurse-coordinator, physical therapist, and a research coordinator who directs our muscular dystrophy research at the University of Minnesota. Our clinic offers comprehensive diagnostic work up, cutting-edge therapies and supportive care.
