The vagina, or birth canal, is the reproductive organ that goes from the cervix to the external female genitals. Cancer of the vagina is rare and often has spread from somewhere else.

Our nationally recognized team of gynecologic oncologists, radiation oncologists, advanced practice providers and support staff work as a team to provide patients with leading-edge cancer care, using the latest and most advanced treatment approaches. Our team meets regularly to discuss each patient's treatment, routinely seeking the advice and opinions of our partners within and outside our program.
Personal support Our program is at the forefront of treatments and therapies for vaginal cancer, along with providing extensive personal and emotional support. A diagnosis of vaginal cancer can impact many areas of a patient’s life. We have dedicated psychologists, social workers and others, as well as educational seminars hosted by our staff, access to support groups and peer-to-peer support.
