We also participate in ISSVA (International Society for the Study of Vascular Anomalies).

We take a personalized approach to each patient's case, looking at the patient's symptoms and discussing care with patients and their families. Our treatment plans may include:
- Symptom management through medication: Propranolol, sirolimus, alpelisib, and other systemic medications; topical medications (e.g., timolol); targeted drug therapies, including access to investigational drugs through clinical trials.
- Interventional procedures: Laser Treatment (Pulsed Dye Laser) for superficial lesions and port wine stains; sclerotherapy; and embolization (including glue embolization) for complex vascular malformations.
- Surgical interventions: Surgical excision or reduction of vascular lesions and associated reconstructive procedures.
- Supportive care: compression garments, physical therapy, and pain management.
- Ongoing monitoring and follow-up: Regular assessments to monitor treatment and adjust as needed.
- Patient and family resources: Assistance with support services and access to educational materials with a dedicated clinic coordinator.
Early Referral Matters: How to Refer
Many vascular anomalies are present at birth or appear in early infancy, and timely evaluation can make a meaningful difference in outcomes. Some conditions respond best to treatment when identified early, and others benefit from ongoing monitoring and staged intervention. Even when a diagnosis is uncertain, our team is available to review clinical information and imaging to help guide next steps.
We accept referrals from primary care providers, pediatricians, specialists, and other patients. Early referral is encouraged for optimal outcomes. Our clinic coordinator will review your child's case to ensure they are matched with the appropriate specialists. We may request medical records, including imaging studies, pathology specimens, and photographs, prior to the initial appointment.
Our clinic is located within the Pediatric Dermatology Clinic.
