Foundations for Best Practice in Lactation Care
October 8, 2021 | VIRTUAL ONLY
The M Health Fairview Twin Cities Sports Medicine annual conference features national, regional, and local leaders in sports medicine and orthopedics who will share the latest in research and treatment through expert lectures with questions-and-answers panel discussions, and relevant workshops on clinically important topics.
We have made the difficult decision to not do in-person learning and only offer this conference virtually to maintain the health and safety of all learners. Our apologies for any confusion as we ‘shift gears’ and alter the agenda and format.
This conference is appropriate for physicians, physician assistants, athletic trainers, physical therapists, physical therapist assistants, occupational therapists and other sports medicine providers.
The purpose of this conference is to present case-based, cutting-edge medical information on sports medicine and sports related injuries that sports medicine professionals can directly apply to the care of their athletic population.
At the conclusion of the course, participants should be better able to:
- Recognize performance and mental health issues in athletes, particularly during the pandemic.
- Identify current treatment recommendations to provide optimal care for patients with knee pathology.
- Recognize the evolving trends in treatment of shoulder injuries
- Identify treatment guidelines including diagnosis, initial management and return to sports following concussion.
