University of Minnesota Heart Care and University of Minnesota Cancer Care services are available at Fairview Lakes Medical Center. At Lakes Cancer Clinic, University of Minnesota Medical Center - Wyoming, located at Fairview Lakes Medical Center, we offer a full spectrum of cancer services tailored to the needs of each patient. Our team of cancer specialists work together to provide the most advanced cancer treatment options for patients in east central Minnesota and western Wisconsin. In addition to offering cancer services, patients can also find convenient access to innovative cardiovascular research and treatment from one of the region's most comprehensive heart care programs. Our skilled heart specialists offer a wide range of outpatient care, inpatient care and imaging services in the Internal Medicine Clinic on the second floor of the building.

Directions & Parking
At Fairview Lakes Medical Center, free parking is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Valet Parking
A volunteer parking valet greets patients at the main entrance from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on most weekdays. The valet can help you get in and out of your vehicle and will get a wheelchair for you if you need one. The valet also can arrange for someone to transport you in the wheelchair if needed. If you are driving and need assistance, the valet will take your keys from you, park your car and retrieve your car at the end of your visit. This service is free. It is not necessary to tip the valet.
Directions
Fairview Lakes Medical Center is located at 5200 Fairview Blvd., between Interstate 35 and Highway 61 in Wyoming, Minn., four miles north of Forest Lake. Access to the medical center is from Highway 61 via Fairview Blvd.
From Interstate 35
Take Exit 135 at Wyoming to East Viking Blvd. Go east on East Viking Blvd. (County Road 22) one-quarter mile to the stoplight at the intersection with Highway 61. Turn right. Follow Highway 61 to the stoplight at Fairview Blvd. Turn right onto Fairview Blvd. The medical center is straight ahead.
From the east
Take U.S. Highway 8 west to the stoplight at its intersection with County Road 22 one mile west of Chisago City. Turn right onto County Road 22/36 and then immediately turn left onto County Road 22. Follow 22 to Wyoming. When 22 intersects with Highway 61, turn left onto Highway 61. Go south one mile to the stoplight at Fairview Blvd. Turn right onto Fairview Blvd. to go straight to the medical center.
From the west
Take Co. Rd. 22 (East Viking Blvd.) east until it crosses over Interstate 35 in Wyoming. At the stoplight, turn right onto U.S. Highway 61. Following Highway 61 one mile to the stoplight at Fairview Blvd. Turn right to get to the medical center.
From the north or south via Highway 61
Take U.S. Highway 61 to Wyoming. The medical center is located on the south side of Wyoming. At the stoplight at the intersection of Highway 61 and Fairview Blvd., turn west onto Fairview Blvd. and follow it to the medical center entrance.

Fairview Lakes Medical Center offers top quality primary and specialty care to community residents. With nearby Fairview clinics, and in conjunction with our partners at University of Minnesota Physicians Heart and University of Minnesota Physicians Cancer Care at Fairview, we provide the services your family needs close to home. Our Emergency Department is designated a Level IV trauma center, and we offer Urgent Care seven days a week. Fairview Lakes Medical Center Awards and Designations Awarded a 4-star quality rating in the 2019 Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services "Hospital Compare" quality rating survey. This program rates more than 4,000 U.S hospitals in 57 categories on the quality of care they offer. The 4-Star rating places Fairview Lakes in the top 30 percent of hospitals in the country.
Handicapped parking spaces are plentiful near the entrances on both the north and south sides of the building and near the radiation therapy center entrance.

Visiting Hours In most cases, you may visit patients anytime; however the frequency and length of visiting hours vary according to patient needs.
Between 9 p.m. and 6 a.m., please use the Emergency Department entrance. Visitor Guidelines Anyone with an infectious illness or recent exposure to a contagious disease, such as chickenpox, flu or measles, should not visit the hospital. Smoking is not permitted in the building or on the campus grounds. We are fragrance-free and latex-free. Please avoid wearing perfume or aftershave. Do not bring latex balloons as gifts. Maintain a quiet environment and avoid unnecessary noise. Visitors may be asked to leave the room during tests or treatment.
Pharmacy
For your convenience, we offer Fairview Pharmacy right in the hospital. You can fill prescriptions, buy over-the-counter products and breast-feeding supplies.
Patient Relations
It’s important to us that you have a positive hospital stay. If you have questions or concerns regarding your stay or on your rights as stated in the Patient Bill of Rights, please call the Patient Relations Department at 651-982-7851 or fill out the patient relations form. They can work with you to resolve the problem. You opinion helps us provide the best care possible.
Language Services
To make sure there is effective communication with patients, we provide free interpreter services and communications aids. Inform staff of your need or call Language Services at 612-273-3780. For patients and/or their companions who are deaf or hard of hearing, we provider auxiliary aids and services for free in the following languages: Spanish Somali Hmong Vietnamese Arabic Russian Oromo
Going Home
Preparing to go home may seem a long way off. But the reality is that time will pass quickly. Soon, you’ll be leaving the hospital and planning is an important part of your healing process. Our care team is here to help make this transition as smooth as possible. We encourage you to talk with your doctor and nurses, and to ask any questions, as they occur.
