Located in Edina, we serve many communities in the area, including Richfield, Bloomington, Hopkins, Minnetonka, and Eden Prairie.

Our emergency medicine physicians, nurses, and medical staff are experienced treating adults or children with any type of injury or emergency medical need. M Health Fairview Southdale Hospital is conveniently located off of Highway 62 and France Avenue South in Edina, Minnesota. The emergency department is located on the north side of the hospital, facing Highway 62.

From north: Take Interstate 35W south to Highway 62 (Crosstown). Follow Highway 62 west to France Avenue. Turn left onto France Avenue. Proceed one block to 65th Street. Turn left on 65th Street and follow it past the main hospital building, and then turn left again, following emergency department signage.

From south: Take Interstate 35W north to Highway 62 (Crosstown). Follow Highway 62 west to France Avenue. Turn left onto France Avenue. Proceed one block to 65th Street. Turn left on 65th Street and follow it past the main hospital building. Turn left again, following emergency department signage.

From east: Take Highway 62 (Crosstown) west to France Avenue. Turn left onto France Avenue. Proceed one block to 65th Street. Turn left on 65th Street and follow it past the main hospital building, and then turn left again, following emergency department signage.

From west: Take Highway 494 east to France Avenue. Turn left onto France Avenue and proceed two miles to 65th Street. Turn right on 65th Street and follow it past the main hospital building, and then turn left again, following emergency department signage.

Parking Information:

M Health Fairview Southdale Hospital offers two paid parking ramps on campus. The East Ramp is the closest parking to the emergency department. Visitors to the hospital should park in either the East Ramp or Skyway Ramp and should avoid parking in surface lots near the hospital. Parking in non-hospital areas such as the Southdale Medical Building will result in a towed vehicle.
