About this Location

M Health Fairview Bethesda Hospital is a long-term acute care hospital (LTACH) with 24 beds that offers advanced, integrated care for acute patients whose complex illnesses or injuries have long-term effects. Bethesda is one of just two licensed long-term acute care hospitals in Minnesota. These facilities help seriously ill but stable patients regain their health and ultimately go home or step down to a transitional care facility. Common problems treated at an LTACH include respiratory distress/ventilator management, wounds that won’t heal, severe brain injuries, organ failure, or chronic health conditions.

Bethesda has an on-site lab, telemetry, radiology, pharmacy, and dialysis services under one roof and is staffed by highly skilled physicians, ICU nurses, respiratory therapists, and a variety of other specialists. From pulmonology to kidney care, we offer a wide range of on-site services so that patients don’t have to travel to another location for a consult. Our services include respiratory care to help patients breathe independently, wound management, physical, occupational, and speech therapy, and treatment of complex medical needs that require daily physician management and ongoing support.

M Health Fairview Bethesda Hospital, a long-term acute care hospital, has moved to the Fairview Community Health and Wellness Hub at 45 West 10th Street in downtown Saint Paul. Use our interactive map to navigate on site. 

To get there from the south, take exit 106C for 11th Street off I35E and turn right on Saint Peter Street.

To get there from the west, take the 241B exit for 10th Street off I94 and continue on 10th Street to the location.

To get there from the east, take exit 242A off I35E to merge onto East 12th Street toward the State Capitol. Then turn left on Cedar Street and right on 10th Street East.

To get there from the north, take exit 107C off I35E for University Avenue, then continue on East 12th Street toward the State Capitol. Then turn left on Cedar Street and right on 10th Street East.
