Our approach
We use a multidisciplinary approach to treatment that includes both therapists and doctors. After consulting with your doctor to rule out any medical conditions that may be causing your symptoms, a physical therapist will evaluate your musculoskeletal system. Therapists will look at alignment, postural changes, muscle tightness and flexibility, connective tissue tightness, and muscle strength throughout your body. Any dysfunction in these areas may lead to problems in your overall health.
Your therapist will explain how the pelvic floor and connective tissues influence body systems and provide a treatment plan that may include manual therapy, myofascial release, stretching and strengthening exercises, electrical stimulation, biofeedback, and patient education.
