Our approach
At M Health Fairview’s Aortic Center, our providers offer comprehensive aortic care, from aortic valve to iliac arteries. We bring state-of-the-art innovation and evidence-based care to our patients, including a high degree of expertise in minimally invasive endovascular therapy, open surgery, and hybrid treatment options.
Our multidisciplinary approach means our specialists work together to determine the best path forward. We have a Multidisciplinary Aortic Conference, allowing for complex patient review by cardiac surgery, vascular surgery, vascular cardiology, and genetics. We also offer a Multidisciplinary Joint Aortic Clinic for patients needing cardiac and vascular surgical evaluation, which consolidates care to a single visit with both cardiac and vascular surgeons for patients with extensive aortic disease.
We have the largest regional volume of aortic dissection experience, and care for aortic dissection patients from all of Minnesota, South Dakota, North Dakota, Wisconsin, Iowa, and Michigan. We also participate in the International Registry for Aortic Dissection.
