Our doctors will work with you to develop customized tests and treatment plans tailored to you to help reduce your allergy symptoms and works with your lifestyle.
Our approach
The dedicated allergists at University of Minnesota Health Allergy Care will customize testing to each person’s possible allergies. We can test for allergies to a wide range of cosmetics, materials (plastics, metals, rubber), foods, medications, chemicals, preservatives, food additives, perfumes, and environmental allergens (pollens, dust components, insect stings). We offer a wide range of standard patch, scratch/prick, and intradermal test with immediate and delayed readings to diagnose the different types of allergic reactions.
Because nearly 90% of reported drug allergies are not correct, the diagnosis of drug reactions is extremely important. Our allergy team wants to evaluate the exact drug causing the reaction.
Our clinic has specially designed, dedicated space to perform all these tests and treatments so that our team can observe you for any reactions.
