Pediatric Gastroenterology
Overview
The team of gastroenterology, hepatology, and nutrition specialists with M Health Fairview Pediatrics brings help and hope to infants, children, and adolescents who are experiencing issues affecting the gastrointestinal or digestive system, which includes the esophagus, stomach, intestines, liver, and pancreas.
Our pediatric gastroenterology program is anchored by M Health Fairview Masonic Childrens Hospital, a nationally recognized children’s hospital located on a leading academic hospital campus in Minneapolis. We offer advanced treatment for inflammatory bowel disease, nutritional conditions, liver failure, liver transplants, and total pancreatectomy and islet auto-transplants (TP-IAT) – as well as treatment for abdominal pain, constipation, and other common childhood problems. In 2023, we were ranked among the top 50 in the nation by U.S. News & World Report for our exceptional and compassionate care.
Our multidisciplinary program includes gastroenterologists, hepatologists, dietitians, genetics and metabolism specialists, surgeons, transplant specialists, pharmacists, laboratory experts, and many others. Together, they work seamlessly to provide your child and family with patient-centered care.
Through our partnership with the University of Minnesota, your child has access to the latest innovations in pediatric gastroenterology, liver, and nutrition care, including new treatments and techniques not available anywhere else. Whatever intervention your child needs, we’re here by your side, every step of the way.
