Reproductive transitions like preconception, pregnancy, postpartum and perimenopause impact all aspects of our lives and can be full of unexpected challenges.
The Women’s Wellbeing Program provides compassionate reproductive and perinatal mental health treatment for women and their families navigating the unique challenges of reproductive transitions. We provide specialized care that is reproductively informed and centered on you, to support your emotional and mental wellbeing.
We have expertise in supporting:
- The management of mental health symptoms during reproductive transitions and the perinatal period
- The adjustment to a new parenting role and identity, the development of parenting skills, and the parent-infant relationship
- The grieving process of parents experiencing reproductive or perinatal loss
Our approach
Our multidisciplinary team offers a variety of services to support your journey, including:
- Expert Treatment: We provide a range of services from therapy and lifestyle adjustments to medication management. Our diagnostic evaluations help us create a personalized evidence-based plan to address a range of mental health concerns.
- Specialized Support: We have dedicated care for preconception planning, pregnancy, postpartum, ruptures in reproductive or parenting experiences (e.g., infertility, reproductive loss, traumatic delivery, premature delivery/infant receiving NICU care), premenstrual mood disorders, and peri/postmenopause.
- Training the next generation: Our academic mission is to expand the availability of mental health professionals equipped to treat individuals experiencing mental health conditions in the context of reproductive and parent-infant relational health concerns
