Achievement Center

Overview

If you’re living with multiple sclerosis or another neurological condition, the M Health Fairview Achievement Center is here to support you. Our center offers both an outpatient rehabilitation clinic and a state-licensed day program, designed to help you thrive. We focus on enhancing the physical, mental, and emotional well-being of people with MS and other neurological conditions. Through a range of personalized therapies and programs, we aim to improve your quality of life in a warm, supportive environment. As the only day program in the Twin Cities specifically for these conditions, we’re uniquely dedicated to helping you live well.

Our approach

The Achievement Center’s programs provide the most complete and effective rehabilitation services available. We’ll help you:

  • Maintain or improve functional ability
  • Prevent complications often seen in severe neurological conditions
  • Adjust to changing functional abilities
  • Benefit from a creative alternative to nursing home placement
  • Receive support for yourself and your family members

Day Program

Activities at the Achievement Center help you remain as active and independent as possible so that you may remain in your home. The Achievement Center also assists family members or caregivers by providing respite, support, and resources. Individuals participate in the program one to two days per week, Monday-Thursday from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Group activities include:

  • Wheelchair aerobics
  • Adapted art activities, such as painting, woodworking, and ceramics
  • Music
  • Accessible gardening
  • Book clubs
  • Educational programs and speakers
  • Community outings

Outpatient rehabilitation

The Achievement Center is conveniently located in the same building as M Health Fairview Rehabilitation Services - St. Paul. Our outpatient rehabilitation clinic offers physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech-language pathology.

Day Program members are able to coordinate their outpatient rehabilitation appointments with their Day Program schedule for added convenience.

These services do require a physician’s order. Most health insurance plans cover rehabilitation services, but we recommend contacting your insurance provider to verify coverage.
