Treatment in
Breast Cancer Rehabilitation
Overview
Our trained lymphedema therapists work closely with physical medicine and rehabilitation and oncology teams to identify the early signs of lymphedema to determine therapy needs you may have related to your breast cancer surgery. If these signs are identified, you can be seen in one of our outpatient rehabilitation clinics for breast cancer rehabilitation and complete decongestive therapy if indicated. This therapy may begin around three weeks post-surgery, or as directed by your physician or medical team.
