Conditions We Treat
ECMO is used to provide temporary heart or lung support to a number of conditions in infants, children, and adults including cardiac arrest, congenital diaphragmatic, hernia, meconium aspiration syndrome, as well as:
- Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome (ARDS)
- Myocarditis
- Cardiomyopathy
- Pneumonia
- Pulmonary Embolism (PE)
