We want to provide the JYNNEOS vaccine to all eligible patients in an equitable way. Patients who are eligible for the vaccine can be scheduled to receive the vaccine at the M Health Fairview Vaccine Clinic in St. Paul. We are working closely with the Minnesota Department of Health and our community partners to make the vaccine as accessible as possible for Fairview and non-Fairview patients.
The current eligibility criteria for the JYNNEOS vaccination are:
- Patients exposed to a person with mpox.
2. Vaccination prior to exposure
- You engage in sex work, or exchange sex for food, money, substances, shelter, etc
- You are gay, queer or bisexual man, and/or transgender (including trans man, trans woman, nonbinary, or gender non-conforming)
- You are a man who has sex with men (MSM)
- Sexual partners of persons with the above criteria listed above
- Persons who anticipate experiencing the above criteria listed above
- You are considered more vulnerable to mpox by a provider's clinical judgment or public health recommendation (i.e. treated for a sexually transmitted diseases in the past 6 months, people experiencing homelessness, incarceration)
If you have had a severe allergic reaction to a JYNNEOS vaccine or to an ingredient in the vaccine, such as gentamicin, ciprofloxacin or egg protein, talk to your doctor. You may not be able to get this vaccine.
Vaccination during pregnancy and for breastfeeding mothers who meet the above criteria can be considered a candidate for the JYNNEOS vaccine after discussion with a provider.

If you are interested in receiving the vaccine and meet one of the above criteria call 1-855-FAIRVIEW to schedule an appointment. We will ask screening questions, but you can self-attest to being eligible for vaccination without specifying which criteria are meet.
