Our licensed, faculty health psychologists are active clinicians providing a range of diagnostic and therapeutic psychological services in collaboration with physicians and other health professionals at the University of Minnesota Medical Center and the Clinics and Surgery Center.

Our Approach

By working collaboratively with other members of patients' health team, we are able to integrate behavioral services with medical services to help patients achieve their health and wellness goals. Our psychologists are clinicians, as well as researchers, helping primary care and specialty care patients and their families.

Conditions we can help treat include depression, adjustment problems, health-related behavior change, disability, insomnia, smoking cessation, people experiencing or wishing to prevent health problems Treatments we offer include psychological assessment, psychotherapy/counseling, cognitive behavioral therapy, relaxation training, behavior therapy, and motivational interviewing
